With the provisional patent in place, the company can now begin to take a more aggressive approach in marketing.
On July 23, 2007, Leifers, through their patent attorney, John Fischer of STORM LLP, filed U.S. Provisional Patent Application No. 60/951.413.
“The Provisional Patent allows us to use the term ‘Patent Pending’ on our NeoClassic design. This also means we get to take a more active and aggressive role in marketing the company and the doghouse. We’re very excited to have reached this milestone,” said Kathy Ellis, President of Leifers.
