Sean Collin of Pitts, Collin & Eckl, P.C. joins the Leifer team as business and licensing attorney of record

Sean has several clients in pet related industries including one of the largest manufacturers of dog food in the country. He also specializes in advising companies and individuals on maximizing revenue and asset value from intellectual property based assets including financing, licensing and merger and acquisition activity.

About Sean Collin
Sean holds Economics and Law Degrees (with Honors) from Otago University in New Zealand and a Masters Degree (with Distinction) from Georgetown University Law Center in International and Comparative Law. He has lived and worked in six countries and advised clients in relation to international matters in over 75 countries. He is admitted to practice law in three countries.

Sean has been a guest lecturer to classes at the Wharton Business School, The Graduate School of Public & International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh, George Mason Law School, The University of California, National University, and Curtin Technology University in Australia. He was recently on faculty as an Adjunct Professor in the International MBA Program at the University of San Diego. He has been during his long career a frequent speaker to national and international trade associations such as INTA and business groups and at national and international legal seminars in the United States, Australia and Europe.

He has been extensively involved internationally with the American Chamber of Commerce and has sat on the boards of a number of different companies in different countries. Sean has been Vice President, International for the San Diego Software and Internet Council, Chairman of the International Trade Committee for Biocom, and was a member of the Board and International Public Policy Forum for the San Diego World Trade Center. He has also sat on the Advisory Board of National University.

Sean has been an accredited United Nations representative for an international non-governmental organization that previously represented the interests of orphans around the world, The Pacific Rim Institute for Development & Education, and sits on the board of an international adoption center, The Adoption Center of Washington. He is currently Secretary and a Board member of Sacred Healing Circle, a non-profit corporation focusing on the needs of Native American communities.
