In an effort to secure the intellectual property rights to the unique design and engineering of the NeoClassic doghouse, the company, Leifers, will be filing a Utility Patent. “While there certainly are other doghouses out there on the market, none of them have the extensive engineering and combination planter/animal shelter that our NeoClassic does,” says company founder and designer Karl Krieg. “We know that a patent will be important for our investors and our retail/catalog partners who are anxious to offer an exclusive, innovative product.”
In addition to the Utility Patent on the NeoClassic design, the company also plans on filing design patents on the other designs they will be offering.
