Dogs love caves and to burrow. People love their dogs and a beautiful home. But many dog things, especially doghouses, are ugly. At the very lest they are uninspired.
This is the year Leifers, a Pethome Furnishing Company, plans on changing this. Through the National Lawn and Garden Show in Chicago, Leifers has secured one-on-one meetings to present the NeoClassic pet retreat home to well known catalogers and companies: Frontgate, Plow & Hearth, Improvements Catalog, Picket Fence, Doctors Foster & Smith, Inc., Molbak’s Garden Center, Calloway’s Nursery, Inc., QVC Inc., and others.
“We know that on the luxury product horizon, garden and gardening products are going to continue to grow as consumers emerge from inside their homes (their cocoons) and venture out into the external world (their yards and patios),” says Kathy Ellis, President of Leifers. “Our doghouses are going to be excellent acquisitions for companies who provide finer garden décor, plants, decorative items and the like.”
Making its debut at the show, the company’s NeoClassic pet retreat home will have two opportunities in front of savvy buyers. The NeoClassic will be seen at the show’s Point of Purchase Showcase and in a private viewing at the New Product Prototype Review. All buyers at the show are required to give feedback on products displayed at the New Product Prototype Review. “This is an excellent way to get expert feedback on the NeoClassic and gives us first hand knowledge of which retailers and/or catalog companies are a good fit for our company,” Ellis says.
The NeoClassic pet retreat home is art for your home...and your pet. This doghouse is 49” tall and 30” in diameter. It comes in three designer colors: Doe Skin, Burrow, and Ayer’s Rock.
The houses do not come with the plant but home owners are encouraged to use a live plant in the bowl because doing so, offsets any carbon pawprint that occurred during manufacturing.
