Fashion Group International of Dallas is proud to announce a new fashion event that is literally going to the dogs.
It is Jazzy, Fun, Sophisticated, and Furry!
4 Legged Fashion: Canine meets Couture combines many things we enjoy about fashion, about design, about dogs - wraps it up in a cocktail party, and uses the proceeds to benefit local animal charities.
A collection of one-of-a-kind items from leading designers will be shown and auctioned off during the event. The “4 legged fashions” will be strutted on our Dog Walk, while accessories, home furnishings, and fabulous abodes will be shown in our Pooch Palace. All items promise to be unique, inspiring, and made for dogs.
Leifers will be one of the designers contributing to the event. “We’re talking with painters, jewelry designers, architects, and clothing designers about partnering with us to create our one-of-a-kind NeoClassic doghouse. This doghouse is going to be something very special. A wonderful collaboration between design talents. The highest bidder on this item is going to be very, very happy,” Said Kathy Ellis, President of Leifers.
And since it is a party for us humans, there will be food, beverages, and entertainment. It’s furr-abulous.
Tickets go on sale March 1, 2009.
